GUEST - Keren Ann - conversation and solo performance
Keren Ann Zeidel is an Israeli born French performing songwriter who is about to release her first English record ("Not Going Anywhere") in America later this summer (Keren Ann is her professional name.). She has released two highly regard French albums in Europe: "La Biographie de Luka Philipsen" and "La Disparition." She's doing a couple of month long residencies in New York during June (Tuesdays at The Sidewalk Cafe) and July (Wednesday's at The Living Room). Tonight's visit was her American radio debut . We talked at length and played a variety of recordings, including some of her own favorites, and then went into Studio A to continue the conversation while she performed several of her subtle and beautiful songs accompanying herself on acoustic guitar.
